Hikaru Noguchi left her native Japan to study knitwear and textiles in England in 1989. Falling in love with the country Noguchi elected to make the UK adopted home, creating stunning knitwear collections for the likes of Paul Smith. Described as “a look that is both sophisticated and quirky, achieved through unusual juxtapositions of colour and texture. Throughout, her fundamental theme is one of joie de vivre.” A selection of pattern and solid tweed knits, these ties demonstrate the artistry that can be present in ones accessories.
