Ahh the brilliant Brits. One of our main men Oliver Spencer updates his Portland jacket with this latest version, the Keats Fawn. Inspired by what we think is the 19th century group of controversial poets called the “Cockney School,” the sport coat is indeed named for John Keats… (we think) and his use of cockney rhyming verse.
Nevertheless, this jacket holds a plethora of surprises. The collar can be flipped up military style, revealing a dark trim or pressed flat like a standard jacket. The back of the sleeves feature contrast patches reminiscent of a hunting jacket, and the cuffs are elasticized like a jumper. Lots going on here and a knock out piece at that. Available online.
