Last month we highlighted L.B.M. 1911’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Without rehashing too much of what was previously said about the brand’s superior quality and fit on their sport coats, it is worth mentioning again that L.B.M. 1911 should be on your radar for reasonably priced casual jackets. You’d be pretty hard pressed to find the level of craftsmanship and style at a similar price point.
While lookbooks can often serve as great visual inspiration for ideas to adopt into your own wardrobe, it is important to understand what works for you first and foremost. While Lubiam did a great job colour coordinating their outfits for this shoot, there are some relatively risqué choices that were selected that should be taken with a grain of salt. For example, a scoop neck t-shirt under a sport coat is something that probably shouldn’t be attempted by most men in real life for a variety of reasons. However, if you look at these outfits just in terms of colour, you might be able to visualize possible colour pairings in your own wardrobe that you might not have considered at first.
