Timepiece deities Tag Hauer have announced an update to its legendary Link series. Possibly the most popular Tag Hauer collection, the Link series is an upscale sports watch doubling as a dressy classic.
Not addressed since it’s last tweak in 2007, the new Links hold some noticeable changes, particularly in the casing. Tag Hauer’s drive was to make the fresh faces and dials “more open.” Thus TH has reduced overall thickness throughout.
Some minor colour changes in the detailing are evident but the main update here, is on the now flattened, ‘s-link’ strap, which gives the Links their name. This slight detail, significantly reduces a lot of bulkiness and helps take the Link series into the streamlined image, Tag Hauer was intending. Available worldwide starting in August 2011.
